Inconsistent in win
April 21, 2018
Attach never found solid ground in the 3-2 win over Lightning Pandaz on Day 2 of CWL Seattle.
ANALYSIS
Attach had an up and down performance in this one. Round 1 Hardpoint saw him struggle to a 19/25 KD, and he was the clear weak link behind a strong three headed monster made up by his teammates. Round 2 Search & Destroy saw him struggle as well, as did his Round 3 Capture the Flag performance where he went 12/19. He did, however, finish very well. He had 33 kills in Round 4 Hardpoint, coming in second on his team. He was a big reason why they led 117-71 at one point, but score streaks from Lightning Pandaz forced a Round 5 Search & Destroy. That final round saw him come up large, as he had five kills through the first three games, and was a consistent force in the 6-1 win that finished the match.
Played well in close win
April 21, 2018
Attach was a key piece of the close 3-2 win over Rise Nation on Day 1 of the CWL Seattle Open.
ANALYSIS
Attach was good in this one. He was not a superstar, but he certainly played a key role in the win regardless of that. Round 1 Hardpoint saw him start of very slowly, but he came together to put in a 27/26 performance overall. They began to run away with it once he woke up. Round 2 Search & Destroy saw Attach play very well, but the rest of the team struggled to play consistency as they lost in 10 rounds. He was a big part of the Round 3 Capture the Flag win, as he had a solid 16 kills and the flag cap that gave them the lead with under 30 seconds left in the round. Round 4 Hardpoint saw him have the same 27/26 KD he did in the first round, but they lost this round. He nearly won the round and finished this game off before a fifth round, as he made a huge kill and got into the Hardpoint as they were sitting in the 240's - Looney killed him however, and won the round 250-247, forcing that fifth round. Round 5 Search & Destroy saw FaZe dominate, losing just one game. It was a solid team effort, with Attach providing excellent support in the win.
Performs a show-stopping flank in the CWL Stage 1 Championships
April 9, 2018
Attach narrowly won a double Grand Finals over OpTic Gaming thanks to clutch plays at CWL Stage 1 Playoffs, winning both series 3-2.
ANALYSIS
Attach was able to cause chaos in OpTic Gaming's formations by just flanking alongside ZooMa. It also helped that he could secure massive plays for his team. Attach clutched up hard in the first Round 1 Hardpoint on London Docks with a sneaky play. On the third Docks Warehouse hill, Attach hid in the corner by Statue side. This play allowed Attach to burn an OpTic player before he could contest the clock and even forced OpTic Gaming to hold a push back, buying his team the two seconds needed to win the round. And then Attach gave a show-stopping play in the first Round 2 Search & Destroy on London Docks. Replays called in his Artillery Scorestreak to zone OpTic Gaming from Bomb B, but they got in regardless of the streak. Attach then moved around and ran through the Artillery barrage to flank OpTic on the bomb site, scoring two kills and stopping a bomb play. He then clutched a final 1-vs-1 on Crimsix as the two desperately hunted each other across the map.
Pairs up with Priestah
April 9, 2018
Attach helped snowball the 3-2 reverse-sweep over Luminosity Gaming in the Loser's Finals at the CWL Stage 1 Playoffs.
ANALYSIS
Along with Priestah, Attach made plays happen by heavily pressing Luminosity Gaming. Attach's aggression did work against him in Round 1 Hardpoint as his constant need to push ignored map control for his team. This allowed Luminosity Gaming to easily steal scrap time. However, Attach's aggression became a boon in Round 3 Capture the Flag as it forced Luminosity Gaming into a defensive position. His streak-reliant opponents could never secure Scorestreaks thanks to Attach constantly pressuring their positions.
Pinches Team Kaliber for win
April 8, 2018
Attach coordinated a tight assault in a 3-0 win over Team Kaliber on Day 3 of the CWL Stage 1 Playoffs.
ANALYSIS
Attach and ZooMa somehow always found the right places to pressure FaZe Clan. For ZooMa, it was with flanks, but for Attach it was his incredible defense. In Round 2 Search & Destroy on Ardennes Forest, Attach tore through Team Kaliber by simply taking the hill in Ruins. The power position allowed him to easily spot out and tag up Team Kaliber as they made consistent pushes into the Ruins. This was especially important in Game 11 where Attach's positioning on the hill allowed him to get an early pick and almost solely push Team Kaliber back form the bomb site.
A lot of good in win
April 7, 2018
Attach had plenty of good to take away from the 3-2 win over Team EnVyus in the first loser's round of Day 2 of the CWL Stage 1 Playoffs.
ANALYSIS
Attach was not perfect in this one, but he did a lot of good in the match. He got off to a hot start in Round 1 Hardpoint, though he faltered a bit in the middle of the round. While his teammates picked him up there, he eventually picked it back up to a strong 40/35 KD in the round. They ended up losing by a measly point, however, after hero plays from Classic and Huke. His other strong round came in Round 3 Capture the Flag. He went 14/9, putting together a strong, balanced performance, playing well in both halves. He also had two of his team's flag caps. He played solid defense, as well, which really rounded out his game. He was more support than in the two Search & Destroy rounds, especially in the former. He helped fill in the blanks left behind by ZooMa and Replays. The latter was different, with him going 2/5 through the first five games, but he picked it up after. He had the final kill in Games 6 and 7, which was key in putting away Team EnVyUs. The round previous to that, Round 4 Hardpoint, housed a wholly forgettable 27/30 showing.
Struggles to break through
April 7, 2018
Attach struggled to break through in the 3-1 loss to Team Kaliber on Day 1 of the CWL Stage 1 Playoffs.
ANALYSIS
Even in their sole round win, Round 1 Hardpoint, Attach struggled to get past that 1.00 KD mark. He finished 36/37, with over 1:30 on the objective. It was far from a bad game, but he could not string many kills together. He was key in the win, however, getting two key kills to get into the objective. This continued into their three round losses, too. He went 15/18 in Round 3 Capture the Flag, and 30/32 in the final Round 4 Hardpoint. Round 2 Capture the Flag saw him lag a little behind too. Overall, while he was far from bad, it was a frustrating performance from Attach.
Deficient in Search & Destroy
March 31, 2018
Attach couldn't solve Team Kaliber as FaZe Clan were downed in a 3-2 series.
ANALYSIS
Attach more than did his job throughout this series, but it simply wasn't enough. He was on point in both Hardpoint rounds, as he always rotated well and set up kills for long holds. The only problem here was that they couldn't stand up against Team Kaliber during either Search & Destroy round. Attach picked up the slacked of his teammates both times, but without enough help from everyone on the team, it was curtains for them in this series.
Hits hard and fast to start, but tires later
March 26, 2018
Attach kept the pace quick against Luminosity Gaming to start, but even as FaZe Clan won 3-1 over LG on Thursday of Week 8 of the CWL Pro League Division B, Attach quickly lost steam later in the series.
ANALYSIS
Attach came out swinging against Luminosity Gaming in Round 1 Hardpoint, where Attach notched a positive KD of 34/26 and the most hardpoint control time of his team with 1:54. Unfortunately, LG ended up taking Round 1, and perhaps ironically, while Attach lost steam in the other three rounds, his teammates picked up the slack and won all three. In Round 2 Search & Destroy, Attach wound up with a negative KD of 4/5 as his team narrowly won. Round 3 Capture the Flag saw Attach go negative in KD again with 17/18, but he was still able to contribute to FaZe Clan's runaway victory with a flag capture. Finally, Attach scored another negative KD in Round 4 Hardpoint with 21/26, but at this point FaZe Clan were set to run away with the 3-1 series victory.
Solid support game in win
March 21, 2018
Attach was in an important support role in the 3-1 win over UNILAD on on Day 1 of Week 4 of CWL Global Pro League, Stage 1.
ANALYSIS
Round 1 Hardpoint housed his best round, as he and ZooMa paced the team in kills throughout. They sat at 28 kills apiece as FaZe Clan hit the 200-point mark, and Attach finished the round with an impressive 33/30 KD. He and ZooMa opened up the map for two strong objective games from Replays and Priestah. The rest of Attach's performance was in a supporting role. He was important to their wins in Round 2 Search & Destroy and Round 4 Hardpoint. Without his solid slaying in the former, and his strong objective game in the latter, FaZe Clan would have had a harder time finishing off the win.
Support at best
March 17, 2018
Attach was in the background of the sweep win over Team EnVyUs on Day 3 of Week 3 of CWL Pro League, Stage 1.
ANALYSIS
Attach did not have a highlight reel-filled performance, but he was an effective support player for the majority of the win. Round 1 Hardpoint was his best round. FaZe won 250-152, and it was an excellent team effort -- every player on their team had at least 21 kills. Attach was a solid piece to their puzzle, going 24/24 with 1:06 on the objective. His strong support role continued in another dominant team win, in Round 2 Search & Destroy. They won 6-1 and were as dominant as that sounds. Attach was, again, a solid piece of a strong four-player performance. His biggest spot came in Game 6, winning a 1-vs-2 to put them on round point.
Middling at best in win
March 16, 2018
Attach was never in the spotlight of the 3-1 win over Evil Geniuses on Day 2 of Week 3 of CWL Global Pro League, Stage 1.
ANALYSIS
Attach was in the background of this win, whether the round was a win for FaZe Clan, or a loss. He did do some good things, however. Round 1 Hardpoint saw him provide big objective time each time the Main Street hill came along. He had an excellent early Round 2 Search & Destroy performance, and paced his team to a 5-1 lead before winning the round 6-4. Attach's performance was far from highlight worthy, but he provided plenty of positive moments, especially early in the match.
Barely breaks even in overall performance
March 10, 2018
Attach could only scrape out an average performance, barely staying afloat in KDs almost every game as FaZe Clan lost to OpTic Gaming 3-1 on Day 1 of CWL Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Attach had a solid, but unremarkable start in Round 1 Hardpoint, where he got the best KD of his team at a narrowly positive 25/24, not surprising considering the close nature of the round. Attach broke even in KD during Round 2 Search & Destroy with only a 5/5, lagging behind two of his teammates despite FaZe Clan's near sweep of that round. Attach's worst performance this series was Round 3 Capture the Flag, where he scored a negative KD of 15/20, dragging down his team as OpTic rallied at the last minute to clutch a round victory. Attach's overall mediocre performance of this series was capped off in Round 4 Hardpoint, where he scored the exact same KD he did in Round 1 at 25/24, and this time it wasn't the best KD of his team.
Easily punishes eUnited
March 9, 2018
Attach blows through eUnited in a 3-0 sweep on Day 1 of CWL Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Attach only continues to get better with FaZe Clan. Not only has he expanded his arsenal to include SMGs and ARs, but his versatile teammates allow him to easily poke weaknesses in his opponents. Attach largely stuck to SMGs in this series, especially in Round 3 Capture the Flag, but he'd take up a sniper in Round 2 Search & Destroy on USS Texas. Because he could so easily switch weapons, eUnited had little consistent defense against him, such as in Round 2 Search & Destroy where Attach switched weapons practically every game.
Starts and ends match well
February 15, 2018
Attach had a good start, and a good end, to the 3-1 win over Epsilon eSports, opening up Thursday's CWL Global Pro League, Stage 1, matches.
ANALYSIS
Round 1 Hardpoint saw FaZe pick up from where the left off the night before with an easy win. They handled Epsilon, winning the round 250-93, and a large part of that was due to Attach's play. He played a strong two-way game, peppering Epsilon to earn 27 kills and had 1:52 on the objective. He was a key reason why they had superior map control throughout the round, which is why their lead was so massive and stayed that way. He fell into a support role in Round 2 Search & Destroy, as ZooMa and Priestah did a lot of the heavy lifting. He was not electric, but he did enough behind the scenes to contribute to the win. FaZe Clan as a whole looked poor in Round 3 Capture the Flag, with only ZooMa ending the round with a KD ratio above 1.00. Epsilon dominated the kill feed, and FaZe Clan's offense was completely stifled. It was a bad round for FaZe overall. They picked it back up for a gritty Round 4 Hardpoint win, 250-243. In a round that close, everyone has to be good, and Attach did not disappoint. He went 29/26, with 1:30 on the objective. They were trailing for the majority of it, and Attach's gun play was a big reason why they came back. Without his strong play, they likely would've been forced into a fifth round.
