Does not have roster lined up for CoD: WW2
November 4, 2017
Mboze does not have a roster lined up for Call of Duty: World War II, and doesn't appear to be actively searching for a new situation.
ANALYSIS
In a clip from his Twitch stream, Mboze did not mince words, suggesting the roster of Nagafen, Methodz and StuDy, who he was supposed to play for heading into the new season, was a "trash team". Essentially hinting he assumed the roster would fail, Mboze went on to say it wasn't worth jeopardizing his position as a streaming presence for OpTic Gaming. As a result, it seems unlikely that Mboze would find a roster worthy of sacrificing the lofty position, with most teams already set upon the launch of the game.

Released from Nagafen's team
November 2, 2017
Mboze has been dropped from Nagafen's roster in favor of Blfire, his former teammate announced on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
It's certainly not a good look for Mboze, who is attempting a competitive comeback after a multi-year absence, given Blfire has yet to break out as a slayer. However there is a silver lining, as the roster move might open up the door for Mboze to join a desperate roster looking for one more star-caliber player. With just days before the official start of the new competitive season, it would make sense to see the former OpTic Nation star on a new roster in the near future.

Signs on with Methodz and company
October 5, 2017
Mboze has signed on with a new team after announcing his return to competitive play just over a month ago. He'll be teaming with Methodz, StuDy and Nagafen to begin Call of Duty: World War II.
ANALYSIS
On the surface, this lineup could very easily challenge for the second tier of North American teams, particularly if StuDy can return to his Call of Duty: Black Ops III form. But much of the lineup's success rests on what type of player Mboze will be after essentially a two year layoff, having last played competitively during the 2015 season. If Mboze can pick up where he left, not a guarantee given the quality of competition that has joined the competitive scene since he last played, then this lineup has a chance of competing with other North America teams not named OpTic Gaming for a spot among the best in the country.

Returns to competitive scene

Mboze is a free agent for Call of Duty: World War II, the former OpTic Gaming star announced on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Mboze last played full-time in 2015, bouncing between a handful of squads including OpTic Nation, but he did sub in for Team Kaliber during the 2016 NA CWL Stage 1 Relegation and failed to help the team qualify for Stage 2. The Black Ops II season was Mboze's most dominant season by far, eventually taking third place at CoD Champs with OpTic Gaming before getting his own team, OpTic Nation.
