Team Kaliber
Dominates the first series
August 19, 2018
Ferocitys streaked hard in a double Grand Finals series loss to Evil Geniuses, winning the first series 3-2 and losing the second series 3-0, on Championship Sunday of the 2018 Call of Duty World League Championship.
ANALYSIS
Ferocitys was largely the reason Team Kaliber was able to take the first series. His strong slaying in Round 4 Hardpoint and Round 5 Search & Destroy gave Team Kaliber a suite of utility while also opening the map for the team. In Round 4 Hardpoint on London Docks, for example, Ferocitys was able to land a seven killstreak while breaking the first Barrels Warehouse. Ferocitys' Scorestreaks became vital in the third set of rotations as his Artillery Strike zoned out on the third Statue hill. Round 5 Search & Destroy saw a similar situation as Ferocitys once again scored all his Scorestreaks to clean out Evil Geniuses. However, Ferocitys' slaying disappeared in the second series, where he struggled to make evne his presence felt.
Assits Kenny to victory
August 19, 2018
Ferocitys assisted his teammates in a 3-1 win against FaZe Clan on Championship Sunday of the 2018 Call of Duty World League Championship, allowing for Team Kaliber to rematch Evil Geniuses at the Grand Finals
ANALYSIS
Ferocitys, like the rest of Team Kaliber, originally had a tough time standing up to FaZe Clan. Thankfully, he would quickly come to life in Round 2 Search & Destroy. Ferocitys spend most of the series attempting to assist Kenny in his roaming efforts. This was accomplished by Ferocitys scouting lanes before Kenny's trigger-finger would care of the targets Ferocitys softened up. This would see its best use in Round 4 Hardpoint where Ferocitys was able to help Kenny manipulate spawn, eventually assisting Kenny in landing an eleven killstreak. Ferocitys assistance also helped shore Team Kaliber's laying in the second half of the series.
Stands out in flat series
August 19, 2018
Ferocitys made the one strong performances in a 3-1 loss to Evil Geniuses on Championship Sunday of the 2018 Call of Duty World League Championship, dropping to fight FaZe Clan in the Losers Final.
ANALYSIS
Team Kaliber weren't able to compete as the team had a completely flat game. The only exception to Team Kaliber's slow start would be Ferocitys, who was able to clutch Round 2 Search & Destroy fro his team. Scoring eleven kills, Ferocitys was able to nudge his team to a map victory thanks to his strong shots. Evil Geniuses slower style of play forced Team Kaliber to slow down, something the team isn't comfortable doing. Ferocitys, however, was able to score key 1-vs.-1's in Round 2 to close out the map win.
Anchors and shores up his team
August 19, 2018
Ferocitys flexibly supported his teammates in a 3-1 win against eUnited on Day 4 of the 2018 Call of Duty World League Championships, booking their way to the Winners Final.
ANALYSIS
Ferocitys bounced between slayer and anchor this series as he shored up various weaknesses in his team. In Round 1 Hardpoint, this meant assisting Enable with his slaying as both players tore through eUnited in the early game. And when the slaying slowed down half way through, Ferocitys was able to shore up his team's defense by winning spawn fights to easily flood the hill. Round 4 Hardpoint saw this tactic amped up as Team Kaliber ran Airbourne classes to constantly rush the hill, which was only possible thanks to Ferocitys winning some key rotation battles with Accuracy.
Wears down his opponents
July 30, 2018
Ferocitys rushed down Rise Nation in the team's Grand Final win, losing the first series 3-2 and winning the second series 3-1, at the CWL Global Pro League Stage 2 Playoffs.
ANALYSIS
Ferocitys was easily the biggest question mark in Team Kaliber's roster swap at the beginning of Stage 2. However, Ferocitys has slotted in with Team Kaliber's scrappy playstyle incredibly well since joining the team. Playing the role of SMG alongside Kenny, both Ferocitys and Kenny were able to harass Rise Nation by constantly pressuring objectives and flanks. In the first Round 2 Search & Destroy, Ferocitys made it difficult for Rise Nation to rotate through lanes without getting peppered with bullets and disrupting their formations. Ferocitys's best rounds were easily the first Round 4 Hardpoint and the second Round 4 Hardpoint where his unrelenting offense continually denied points for Rise Nation and slowly sanded his opponent's defense.
Picture of consistency in big win
July 29, 2018
Ferocitys was consistent in each round of the 3-1 win over Rise Nation in the Winner's Bracket Final on Day 3 of the CWL Global Pro League Stage 2 Playoffs.
ANALYSIS
Ferocitys was Team Kaliber's most consistent player in this win. Round 1 Hardpoint was a tough round for them overall, but Ferocitys was extremely good despite that. He had a whopping 2:21 on the objective and had 33 kills on top of it. He was great, but he had no support, and Rise Nation ran right through them. Round 2 Search & Destroy saw him continue his torrid play, as he was a part of a well-oiled machine that got them a 6-5 win. Round 3 Capture the Flag saw him be a stable force, helping them take a 2-0 lead, and keep it through a strong push from Rise Nation. He netted 19 kills and a flag cap in the win. Round 4 Hardpoint was a blowout, as they won 250-102, but Ferocitys had a weird round. He was hardly involved early on - and even carried a negative KD at one point - but he caught fire down the stretch to help keep the gas on and finish the blowout.
Solid outside CTF
July 27, 2018
Ferocitys had three good rounds in the 3-1 win over UNILAD eSports on day 1 of the CWL Global Pro League Stage 2 Playoffs.
ANALYSIS
Round 3 Capture the Flag was a bit of a struggle for Ferocitys, as he went 27/33 as Team Kaliber's offense was completely shut down in the second half the loss. Round 1 Hardpoint saw him play well, going 27/23 with 1:27 on the objective in the round win. They won it with ease, and Ferocitys was a stable and reliable part of that puzzle for Team Kaliber. Round 2 Search & Destroy was the same thing; Team Kaliber waltzed to a 6-2 win, and Ferocitys was a consistent piece of the puzzle alongside Kenny and Accuracy. Round 4 Hardpoint was very similar to the first round, as he went 27/16 with 1:48 on the objective. The final round was his best round, as he based the team (and the lobby) in both kills and Hardpoint time, as they finished the round off with a relatively easy win.
More good than bad in close loss
July 7, 2018
Ferocitys was not perfect, but he played well more often than not in the 3-2 loss to FaZe Clan on Day 3, Week 4 of CWL Global Pro League Stage 2.
ANALYSIS
Round 1 Hardpoint was a weird round for Ferocitys. He went 28/30 (with 1:05 on the objective) but he was pretty inconsistent throughout the round. For every solid run he went on, he went on an equally rough run. He ended up putting in a serviceable performance, but it came with wild ups and downs. Round 2 Search & Destroy saw him play a more consistent, albeit more support-based, role behind strong games from Accuracy and Enable. He was a solid third wheel, though it did not stop FaZe Clan from winning games ten and eleven out from under them. Round 3 Capture the Flag was the only blowout round, and Team Kaliber was on the short end of it. Not one player on Team Kaliber had more than 15 kills, and each player died at least 20 times. It was as lopsided a game as you'll ever see. Round 4 Hardpoint was a much better one for Team Kaliber. They came back from being down 150-70 to win 250-202, and Ferocitys played a big part in it. He was their most consistent player - he was playing well even when they were trailing, and was one of the big pieces of their comeback, alongside Accuracy and Kenny. Round 5 Search & Destroy saw Ferocitys struggle with consistency - he never was able to go on a run in the 6-4 loss.
Support at best in win
July 4, 2018
Ferocitys best performances ended in support roles during the reverse sweep win over Red Reserve on Day 1, Week 4 of CWL Global Pro League Stage 2.
ANALYSIS
Team Kaliber and Ferocitys had a hard time getting their footing in the first two rounds. Round 1 Hardpoint and Round 2 Search & Destroy were losses, and Ferocitys had his ups and downs. He went 23/23 in the first round, and waskill-less through the first six games before getting the final kills in Games 7 and 8. He was a big part of their three-game winning streak in the loss. Team Kaliber broke out of their funk in Round 3 Capture the Flag, but Ferocitys still struggled a bit. They won in overtime, and three of their four players hit the 30 kill mark. The only one who did not, was Ferocitys, who finished 26/28 (he was also the only one to finish with a sub-1.00 KD). His best round by far was Round 4 Hardpoint. He went 39/39 in the round, and some of those kills loomed large; he and Kenny were key in the comeback as they trailed 200-160, and he peppered in plenty of kills as they held their late lead to force a fifth game. He was a solid support player in the eight-game Round 5 Search & Destroy win, as they finished off the reverse sweep.
Punishes a timid opponent
July 3, 2018
Ferocitys bullied a cautious Team EnVyUs in a 3-0 win on Tuesday of the CWL Global Pro League Stage 2.
ANALYSIS
Ferocitys was able to shore up Kenny's slow slaying to sweep Team EnVyUs by forcing tough gunfights. For most of the series, Feroctiys was battling for spawns against Team EnVyUs to control the pace of the game. In Round 1 Hardpoint, this saw Ferocitys pushing lanes off of Enable's killstreaks, bouncing Team EnVyUs out of rotations and hills by blocking their spawns. However, Round 3 Capture the Flag turned into a barn burner as the map turned into a stalemate. Ferocitys was able to break through his enemies' defenses by partnering with Kenny to secure key kills, eventually forcing an opening to take the game-winning flag capture.
Holds spawns as his team slays
June 15, 2018
Ferocitys sat back and let his teammates do the heavy lifting in a 3-0 win over Rise Nation on Friday of CWL Anaheim.
ANALYSIS
With both Kenny and Accuracy popping off, Feroctiys had to do little this series besides sit back and hold spawns. Even then, Ferocitys came under little pressure. In Round 3 Capture the Flag, the round where Ferocitys had to do the most work, he was able to hold his team together thanks to his solid SMG gunplay. On top of that, Ferocitys held the spawns together for his team. This would be vital in the final seconds of the series as Rise Nation desperately scrambled to secure a flag capture.
Not his usual self in loss to Evil Geniuses
May 26, 2018
Ferocitys simply couldn't keep up with Evil Geniuses as Team Kaliber lost in close 3-0 sweep on Thursday of Week 2 of the CWL Pro League Stage 2.
ANALYSIS
Ferocitys managed to stay alive long enough to contribute in Round 1 Hardpoint, where he scored a positive KD of 27/24 and the second-most hardpoint control time of his team at 1:16. Still, Evil Geniuses stalled their plans for a heroic comeback by defeating Team Kaliber by a matter of five seconds. Despite Ferocitys' valiant attempts to defend the bomb sites in Round 2 Search & Destroy from Evil Geniuses, he ended up falling behind in KD with 7/9. He managed to push the round to a Game 11 with the rest of Team Kaliber, but the team suffered yet another tragic close loss by round's end. Round 3 Capture the Flag saw Ferocitys fall behind yet again in KD with 16/19, and his inability to score any flag captures contributed to Team Kaliber's overall demise, as they lost by one flag capture, sealing Evil Geniuses' 3-0 sweep.
Excellent Search & Destroy in loss
May 24, 2018
Ferocitys brought his A game in the Search & Destroy round of Team Kaliber's sweep loss to Team EnVyUs on Day 2, Week 2, of CWL Global Pro League, Stage 2.
ANALYSIS
Ferocitys had subpar respawn rounds in this loss, but his Search & Destroy performance was excellent. They obviously lost Round 2 Search & Destroy in the sweep loss, but Ferocitys was excellent. He was 7/1 through the first four games, and kept his strong slaying up throughout the 11-game loss. Round 1 Hardpoint saw him have over a minute on the hill, but he had a 25/30 KD in the round. His Round 3 Capture the Flag performance saw him net the second-highest kill mark on the team at 17, but they still could not break through the strong Team EnVyUs defense in the 2-1 loss.
Almost makes a comeback
May 17, 2018
Ferocitys nearly turned around a losing series in a 3-2 loss with a 83/75 KD on Wednesday of the CWL Pro League Stage 2.
ANALYSIS
Despite coming in the shadow of Team Kaliber's legendary roster, Ferocitys has slotted himself excellently with the rest of the team. Ferocitys can play just fast and aggressive enough to keep up with Kenny and Accuracy, the two fastest players behind ZooMa and Scump. Then with Ferocitys's added versatility with his sniper play, he can help his team in almost situation. Unfortunately, the team's tactics weren't up to snuff compared to Red Reserve. Ferocitys attempted to turn around Round 5 Search & Destroy by running a sniper rifle, winning three rounds by getting get early picks, but it wasn't enough to defeat a clever Red Reserve. He ended Round 5 Search & Destroy with a KD.
Hot start in win
May 16, 2018
Ferocitys came out on fire in the 3-2 win over Echo Fox on Day 1 of CWL Global Pro League, Stage 2.
ANALYSIS
Ferocitys had a huge start to this match. He and Saints were big reasons why they climbed out of the 50-2 hole they were left in due to Temp and Echo Fox. He ended up putting together a strong two-way game as they clawed back to squeak out a 250-247 win, netting 33 kills and nearly 2:00 on the objective. Round 2 Search & Destroy saw him fall back into a support role, as Kenny's double digit kills led them to an 11-game loss. Round 3 Capture the Flag saw him play solid defense but provide little offense in the 2-1 loss. Round 4 Hardpoint saw him get out to a hot start like he did in the previous Hardpoint round, but he did not have the staying power he did in the first round. He went 27/28 with over a minute on the hill in this round; he did well, but he was not their leader. He provided solid support to Kenny in Round 5 Search & Destroy, as they won the round and the game.
