Potentially leaving CoD scene
September 18, 2017
The organization is contemplating leaving the competitive Call of Duty scene, Fnatic announced in a press release on Monday.
ANALYSIS
It's a bit of a surprise to see Fnatic leave competitive Call of Duty considering their success throughout the 2017 season, with the organization clearly intent on making waves in the League of Legends and Overwatch scene(s). However, they did leave the door at least a little bit open suggesting they will "provide an update on (their) status within CoD as soon as further developments are made".

Announces new line-up
September 16, 2017
Red Reserve announced their new line-up of Joshh, Joee, Rated and Zer0 for the upcoming season of Call of Duty on Twitter.
ANALYSIS
After the all-star line-up formed under Rated's watch, Red Reserve went ahead and wisely snatched the roster. This is despite Rated having only left Red Reserve a month ago. The line-up is, on paper, the best team in Europe. However, question arise concerning both Rated's and Joshh's tumultuous relationships with teams and organizations. If the four can cooperate together, then this may well be one of the best teams in Europe.

ANALYSIS
Early in 2017, it appeared as if Allegiance was well on its way to earning a trip to CoD Champs, having finished fourth in the Las Vegas Open. But the wheels fell off from there, as the team failed to make a dent at any of the other major opens, eventually causing the team to make multiple roster changes. Now locked in with a group of relatively unknown players, Allegiance will have to break out in a big way to finish with a respectable placement.

Team Kaliber qualified for the 2017 Call of Duty World Championships by virtue of finishing in the top-8 of the North America Last Chance Qualifier.
ANALYSIS
TK's roster has remained consistent throughout the better part of 2017, only swapping out ColeChan for Accuracy. Given the roster was fairly close to qualifying for both Stage 1 and 2 of the CWL Global Pro League, Team Kaliber is certainly able to put together a strong run on any given weekend. Whether they are able to do it at CoD Champs, however, remains to be seen.
