Qualifies for 2017 CoD Champs
July 14, 2017
Mindfreak Black qualified for CoD Champs by advancing through the loser's bracket of the APAC Last Chance Qualifier.
ANALYSIS
Mindfreak Black was long expected to earn one of the three APAC spots for CoD Champs, but the controversy surrounding the club was whether the organization would be allowed to have two different teams compete at the tournament. It appears as though that will be the case, meaning the squad consisting of Hopey, Zepa, Setzyy and Swiftaz0r will stay under the Mindfreak brand for now.

Vitality qualified for the 2017 Call of Duty World Championship by virtue of placing in the top six during the European Last Chance Qualifiers.
ANALYSIS
Vitality and Opulent were the final two teams to make it through the European Last Chance Qualifiers, which should say everything that needs to be said in regards to their chances of finishing highly at CoD Champs. Still, it was a nice moment for the simple fact that Shane qualified for yet another CoD Champs, meaning the veteran slayer will have taken part in every one of the major tournaments since its inception.

Supremacy has qualified for the 2017 Call of Duty World Championships by virtue of placing in the European Last Chance Qualifiers.
ANALYSIS
One of the better teams that had yet to qualify for the Call of Duty World Championship, Supremacy have been one of the few teams in Europe that have been consistently average in terms of competition. While they likely won't make a major run at the August tournament, they could surprise a few teams that may underestimate the European team.

Infused have qualified for the 2017 Call of Duty World Championships, playing their way through the European Last Chance Qualifiers.
ANALYSIS
It appears as if the trade to bring in Nolson was a good one, as the former Millenium player jumped ship last week in an effort to qualify for CoD XP. Infused will enter the August tournament as a potential dark horse, capable of finishing within the top-16 if a couple of other teams stumble.

ANALYSIS

Steps into competitive Call of Duty
June 27, 2017
Ghost Gaming has acquired the roster of Bittersweet for Stage 2 of the CWL, the team announced on Twitter Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
After fielding teams in both Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and the Gears of War Pro Circuit, it was only a matter of time before Ghost Gaming branched out into other games in the genre. With the acquisition of the Bittersweet roster, they certainly will have a shot to make some major noise. The roster was put together just three weeks before CWL Anaheim, and despite the lack of playing time together, the team did very well at the event. They were the only team besides OpTic Gaming to go undefeated in their group, showing off against teams like FaZe Clan and Evil Geniuses. While They were unceremoniously bounced from the competition by Red Reserve in a quick 3-1 series, the team left with their heads high and will be looking to do damage in Group Blue of Stage 2 in July.

Vitality forms new team late in the season
April 9, 2017
Gone for the entire season, Vitality announces a brand new team consisting of Wailers, ShAnE, Zerg and Defrag.
ANALYSIS
Vitality seemed to have dropped Call of Duty after a long absence from the CWL. The organization didn't enroll in any tournament but it seems they were simply waiting for Wailers' return. The new Vitality is still built around its core player Wailers. Zerg, ShAnE and Defrag will make up the rest of the team. All three are very strong talent and were presumably picked on Wailers' preferences. The new Vitality will be entering for the first time at CWL Birmingham this weekend.

Millienium buys Team Infused
March 17, 2017
The entire roster of Team Infused shifts to Millenium after buy-out.
ANALYSIS
Millenium announced a surprising buy-out today after a weak season that saw the organization generally uninterested in the CWL. The former members of Millenium have performed poorly after several weak tournaments that saw the organization not even crack the Top 20. Team Infused, on the other hand, have emerged as one of the strongest teams in Europe. The buy-out will see Millenium shoot up the rankings as they buy Team Infused wholesale, seeing that the team is strong together than apart. What the organization behind Team Infuse will do next now they are left rooster-less is unknown.

Millenium buys Team Infused
March 17, 2017
ANALYSIS
In just a day the roster that was Team Infused become Millenium. French organization Millienium bought out Team Infused during a break-out season. Ex-Team Infused have placed realitvely high in European competitions like CWL London and CWL Paris thanks to their adaptations to the respawn meta. Star players like Tom "Moose" Handley and Adam "Peatie" Peate have also made names for themselves with strong slaying skills. The new team will be competeing this weekend as Millenium instead of Team Infused at CWL Dallas, the final tournament before the end of LAN seaosn.

Disbands following poor performance at CWL Sydney
March 8, 2017
Chiefs have opted to disband following a disappointing finish at CWL Sydney, Mike Kent of Dexerto reports.
ANALYSIS
One of the better teams in the ANZ region, Chiefs eSports Club has went through a multitude of roster changes since its inception last season. However after a fourth place finish at CWL Sydney all but assured the team would not qualify for the Call of Duty World League Stage 1, the team has opted to drop out of the scene entirely.
Call of Duty
Releases entire team
February 26, 2017
The Imperial have released their entire team, the organization announced on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
That means that Braaain, endurAAA, SamB and ShAnE will all hit free agency. It's unlikely that any of them will be picked up by a major organization, as Imperial has struggled to place highly at tournaments to start off the new year. The player's lack of Pro Points will likely keep them out of the Call of Duty World League Stage 1, and it remains to be seen if the organization will opt to sign a new team that could be higher on the charts.
Call of Duty
Merges with Orbit
February 17, 2017
Red Reserve will merge with Orbit for the 2017 competitive season, the team announced on Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Red Reserve was previously home to Parasite's roster, but the embattled slayer announced his release from the organization earlier in the year prompting speculation that Red Reserve would be making another move. However, this news comes as bit of a surprise given Orbit's success in the EU region, in which they most recently took first at CWL London. Given that the entire Orbit brand was essentially bought out by Red Reserve, it makes sense that the new team will be playing under the Red banner, but it's still a bit of a surprise given Red's North American ties.
Call of Duty

January 27, 2017
Team EnVyUs will compete at CWL Open Paris, ESWC confirmed on Friday.
ANALYSIS
A handful of other teams from North America figure to make an appearance at the event as well, which takes place February 17-19.
Call of Duty

January 4, 2017
Team LDLC announced on Monday they will leave the Call of Duty scene effective immediately.
ANALYSIS
Citing a lack of investment from Activision, LDLC will step away from the Call of Duty scene after a brief entry, most notably managing to qualify for Call of Duty XP in their first season in the CWL.
