Leaves Splyce
March 17, 2018
The North American organization announced on Twitter that roca is no longer a part of the active roster.
The reason is unknown as to why roca stepped down from the active roster of Splyce, however, a report from indicated the 22-year-old could not come to an agreement with the organization. roca leaves the roster after just a year with the team, helping the org claim a spot in ESL Pro League and a 5th-6th place finish at ROG Masters 2017. Although their performance has been rather poor in the start of ESL Pro League Season 7 as the team has only picked up three wins in tens matches and currently sit 9th in the North American standings.
Solid comeback in series split
October 7, 2017
roca went 33/43 on Tuesday in a 1-1 split with SK Gaming in ESL Pro League Season 6.
roca didn't stand a chance in Game 1 against SK Gaming on Train, with nothing to show besides a team-leading 7/17 KD and 53.9 ADR in the 16-0 blowout. After the Game 1 blowout, roca started off rough in the first half of Inferno on the offense. With a handful of entry kills in an 11-4 deficit at the half, roca quickly turned things around in the second half. A stern and repulsive defense from roca in the second half paid off well as the team won eleven rounds to come back and force overtime. Thanks to roca, his key retakes, and firm B-bombsite holds went the extra mile to earn the extra rounds. The defense from roca continued to ravish the SK men for two rounds before switching sides on an SK win. However, the momentum carried over for roca to close out Game 2 19-16, posting an even 26/26 KD and an 82.5 ADR in the split.
The tie breaker
September 13, 2017
roca posted a 35/40 KD on Tuesday in the 2-0 win over Rouge in ESL Pro League Season 6.
Both teams had a contested start to the first half, which ended up as a 4-4 tie. However, in Round 5 roca came up big to break the tie with a triple spray down on the B-bombsite in the anti-eco to secure the 5-4 lead. From there, his defense stood strong, holding off for a 10-5 lead going into the second half. roca then had a blitzing offensive second half to win five rounds and send the team into map point. Rouge picked up a few rounds that resulted in a close comeback, but roca came out on top to secure the 16-14 win, posting a firm 26/24 KD and 105.1 ADR. Despite winning Game 2 with a convincing 16-9 score, roca only picked up a 9/16 KD and 45.5 ADR during Game 2 on Nuke for the sweep.
Splyce add roca
March 22, 2017
Splyce has revealed that they have completed their full lineup with the addition of roca.
Since the announcement in mid November from former team Echo Fox about letting their players seek out other opportunities, roca has landed on a skilled lineup with Splyce. Splyce found themselves a man short just a few weeks ago due to the departure of CRUC1AL. The 21-year-old has been without a team for four months; however, roca has been seen playing with Splyce prior in various competitions including ECS Season 3 Development League, ESEA Premier, and SL i-League StarSeries Season 3 qualifiers. roca will now join his former teammate ryx in Splyce along with SEMPHIS, Drone, and in-game leader arya.
Free to leave Echo Fox
November 16, 2016
Echo Fox has announced that all its players are free to seek out spots with other teams.
In the short short statement on its Twitter, Echo Fox made it somewhat clear that they intend to rebuild the team from the ground up. Rather than let its players sit around without finding new teams, they have preemptively allowed all its players to seek opportunities elsewhere. roca has been bouncing around between teams over the last two years, having been on six teams since December of 2014. Unfortunately for him, that shuffle will likely continue with this move by Echo Fox.
roca: Set to join Echo Fox
April 19, 2016
According to ESPN's Jacob Wolf, Echo Fox has bought out the contract of roca from compLexity Gaming and will be added to the starting roster.
roca has already been playing with Echo Fox as a stand in FACEIT play, so obviously management feels he fits in with the team. Roca is a solid player and rifler with a great headshot percentage of 52 percent and should make a positive impact with this newly anointed CS:GO team.
roca: Requests release from compLexity, immediately replaced by Surreal
April 8, 2016
compLexity gaming has announced that roca will be replaced by Surreal while management searches for a "new gaming home" for roca.
roca is disgruntled with the team's performance -- currently in 10th place in the ESL Pro League -- and finally has thrown in the towel. Earlier this year, compLexity gaming had sold Semphis and autimatic to Team SoloMid for an estimated $80,000, as reported by The Daily Dot, and it was thought compLexity would be shopping for major talent. Apparently it hasn't happened fast enough and roca wants to jump ship. compLexity has signed and promoted to the starting roster, Surreal and will now move forward.
