Falters in loss
July 6, 2018
chrisJ went 41/47 in mousesports' 2-0 loss to ENCE on Wednesday at ESL Cologne.
ANALYSIS
chrisJ had mouz moving along in the first game on Inferno as he topped the server in ADR and was generally looking clean overall. When push came to shove at the end of the game, though, mouz just couldn't get over that hump. ENCE simply more of the plays needed and mouz were bounced from the competition. When mouz started the week with a 16-8 win over Gambit where chrisJ went 17/10, it looked like they'd have a nice tournament. Unfortunately, things kind of fell apart from then on and now they've got to watch the rest of the tournament from the sidelines.
Falls hard on Dust2
May 20, 2018
chrisJ posted a 44/49 KD on Friday in a 2-0 loss to Team Liquid in the quarterfinals at ESL Pro League Season 7 Finals in Dallas.
ANALYSIS
chrisJ kicked off the series on the offensive of Mirage, where a slated 3-0 lead was quickly swallowed by Liquid, who equalized score in return. From there the two sides traded round but chrisJ could only reach six round in the first half for a 9-6 deficit going into the second. The second half was another pistol win following the anti-ecos but this time the gun round went their way to take the 10-9 lead. Although Liquid managed to break mousesports economy to reach map point, chrisJ was able to rally his men and force overtime, thanks to his Round 30 triple kill hold on B. Unfortunately, chrisJ and company were unable to edge Liquid through two overtime halves in the 22-20 loss. Things didn't get any better on Dust2 as chrisJ's performance was rather dismal with only 10 frags in the 16-4 loss.
Couldn't get past the quarters
April 23, 2018
chrisJ posted a 37/51 KD on Saturday in a 2-0 series loss to Natus Vincere in the quarterfinals at DreamHack Masters Marseille.
ANALYSIS
chrisJ began his series trailing Na'Vi on Mirage to eventually fold on a 12-3 half, although the second half didn't serve much better as he couldn't lead his men to a series lead. chrisJ kicked things off on Inferno by tapping down four in the first pistol round to secure the 1-0 lead, which then led to a close first-half affair resulting in a mouz 8-7 lead going into the second. chrisJ felt the more pressure in the second half to track down Na'Vi and force the overtime rounds, however, even in the second effort, the overtime rounds weren't enough to squeeze past Na'Vi to force the decider.

Despite the hiccups, chrisJ sniped his way through for a 13-2 half, but he quickly got a taste of his own medicine when Valiance struck back with 11 straight to kick off the second half. chrisJ was then finally able to get his team together with a stable enough economy to then close out the remaining three rounds for the win.

A slow start in the second half was quickly a thing of the past when chrisJ got back on the AWP to snipe down three in Round 21 for the 13-8 score. From there, it was all defense as chrisJ closed out Nuke with a 16-9 win, posting a 16/14 KD and 70.0 ADR. Going into the second half, the NiP offense was aggressive and in your face kind of playstyle that chrisJ defense couldn't bear to hold off. From there, chrisJ struggled offensively but did help his team secure the last round of the first half with a 9-6 deficit going into the second. With the help of winning the first two rounds of the second half, chrisJ began to dwindle in performance and could not hold off the offense of FaZe with a broken economy for a 16-9 loss on Mirage.

Double AWP setup works wonders
July 4, 2017
chrisJ finished mouz's win over Fnatic on Tuesday at ESL Cologne with a KD of 23/18.
ANALYSIS
While oskar's clutch in Round 11 was what turned around mouz's fortune and allowed them to eventually get the win, chrisJ was the one who started everything. Fnatic came out the gate hot with six straight rounds, and it was chrisJ clutching a 1-vs-1 in Round 7 that got mouz their first win. From then on, he was brilliant running in the double AWP setup to keep his team moving in the right direction in this series. Without a lot of his entry frags, who knows what the outcome would have been.
