Couldn't win against C9
October 23, 2017
gob b posted a 31/34 KD on Sunday in the 2-0 sweeping loss to Cloud9 in the grand finals of DreamHack Open Denver.
Cloud9 took the early lead on Cache 2-0 for the defense but gob b rallied back in Round 3 to earn a triple entry-kill to cut the deficit by one, 2-1. In Round 4, gob b picked up a triple entry-kill for the offense to secure the 4-3 lead. Although Cloud9 contested to take the 6-4 lead, gob b came up huge again for a Round 11 triple kill clutch on the A-bombsite to secure the 6-5 deficit. From there, Cloud9 took the first half to overcome gob b and his offense for a 9-6 score. gob b contested in the second half but it wasn't enough to edge out the Cloud 9 win 16-13. A dismal start to Game 2 of Train sent gob b in full recovery mode as Cloud 9 dominated the first half with an 8-1 score. In Round 10, gob b picked up a 1-vs-2 clutch on the A-bombsite to help his team get on the board 8-2. However, Cloud9 took the first half respectively for a 12-3 score as the North Americans continued to surge through the second half for a 16-6 series sweep.
Blanked in grand final 2-0
October 23, 2017
tabseN picked up a 32/43 KD on Sunday in a 2-0 series loss to Cloud 9 in the grand finals of DreamHack Open Denver.
tabseN contested early on as Cloud9 took a 2-0 lead for the defense of Cache. In the following rounds, tabseN picked up the entry-kills to even up the score 3-3. Both teams traded rounds but it was Cloud9 to take the first half over with a 9-6 score going into the second. Both teams traded rounds again in the second half much like the early rounds of the first, despite being one round behind. In Round 27, tabseN picked up an insane triple kill hold on the A-bombsite to reduce the deficit to 14-13. Although Cloud closed out Cache with a 16-13 win. In Game 2, tabseN took a rather dismal first half for the defense as he only managed to pick up three rounds in the first half thrashing 12-3 deficit. The second half was a better start but tabseN couldn't close out as Cloud9 picked up the remaining rounds to close the series 2-0 with a 16-6 win on Train.
Leads the way in sweep of Renegades
October 22, 2017
tabseN tallied a 41/37 KD in BIG's 2-0 sweep over Renegades in the semifinals of DreamHack Denver.
tabseN was the driving force in this series win against the Aussies on Sunday. While gob b brought the srats, tabseN brought the kills. He started with a double on the force buy in Game 1, and it never stopped from there on. He was getting retakes with his pistol and generally dominating the game. He may have taken a bit to get going in the second game, he came on strong in the later rounds that BIG used to fuel their big comeback.
Strategies help bring BIG back
October 22, 2017
gob b went 38/36 in BIG's sweep of Renegades in the semifinals of DreamHack Denver.
gob b was pretty textbook with his strategies in Game 1, but that wasn't a bad thing at all. It was more than enough to keep BIG ahead for most of the game, even despite gob b not putting together very many kills. He only had one kill after eight rounds but ended up being near the top once it was all said and done. With the Game 1 win in hand, they went into the second frame with plenty of confidence. They started a bit slow but came on in the second half to move towards the win. gob b, in particular, was a big part of this comeback with plenty of second-half multi-kills that led to the win.

BIG withdraw from Meisterschaft
August 1, 2017
The organization has announced that they have pulled out of the ESL Meisterchaft Summer due to a schedule conflict with ELEAGUE.
After coming off a historic run at the PGL Major and securing Legend status at their first ever Major, the German organization will not attend ESL Meisterschaft. The decision came down to the team choosing between ESL Meisterschaft or the upcoming ELEAGUE qualification as both events fall on the same week. The team then decided to take part in the qualification of ELEAGUE knowing the risk of a non-qualification as the team could walk away with nothing.
