Wished he could have done more
November 4, 2017
Costabile had an okay series for SG Esports against Virtus.pro in Dota Pit. The micro-oriented carry finished with a KDA of 9/5/4.
ANALYSIS
Costabile's Phantom Lancer was on an aggressive trilane set up in the lone game of the series. He pressured Ramzes early even picking up some kills along the way. He got a fairly good timing on his Diffusal Blade at 14 minutes, but he made a few key mistakes that slowed down his chance to truly snowball.
Smooth sailing for SG carry
November 4, 2017
Costabile had an easy time against Immortals in Dota Pit. The carry finished with a KDA of 11/4/7.
ANALYSIS
Costabile's Chaos Knight was barely contested by Immortals early on. This allowed him to pick up an eight-minute Hand of Midas and just concentrate on hunting enemy heroes. His rotations were smooth and he made his presence felt being involved in 18 of his team's 34 kills.
Can only hold up for so long
October 26, 2017
Costabile had a decent game as SG Esports Team lost 1-0 to Team Liquid in the group stages of ESL One Hamburg. Costabile finished with a 2/3/5 KDA and destroyed a tower.
ANALYSIS
Costabile did a good job of not being scared off by the intimidating matchup against the TI7 champions. He played hard and held his own, but could only do so for so long before it all came crashing down. Liquid sent SG down to the elimination game.
Shows off his micro skills
October 12, 2017
Costabile played out of his mind for SG as they made short work of Vici Gaming in Starladder. The Brazilian carry finished with a KDA of 24/2/26.
ANALYSIS
Costabile kicked off the series with the high-skill hero Arc Warden. His early-game farm was insane as he picked up a 10-minute Hand of Midas. With proper Tempest Double usage, he took control of the map after picking up his 17-minute Boots of Travel. His rotations were spot on and his micro was on point on the way to his game-high 15 kills. In Game 2, he went with another micro-intensive hero in Phantom Lancer. Early game again went his way as he freely farmed a 14-minute Boots of Travel. Costabile likes to farm the whole map and it shows, as he averaged a crazy 620 gold per minute stat across the two games.
Rough series for SG's new carry
October 12, 2017
Costabile finished with a 5/8/8 overall KDA in SG esports' 0-2 loss to Team Liquid at the Starladder iLeague Minor.
ANALYSIS
In Game 1 Costabile played Monkey King. He got off to a good start, but unfortunately for SG he was the only person to win his lane. He went for the carry-oriented Battle Fury buildup, but wasn't given enough time to come online after that. He finished with a 3/3/6 KDA. In Game 2 Costabile played Lone Druid. He had a rough time in this game. He didn't have a good lane, and was constantly pressured by the overwhelming net worth lead of Miracle's Luna. He finished the game with a 2/5/2 KDA.
