Runs from allies
August 31, 2017
Kty was the clear focus target in the 1-1 against Beyond the Game in the HGC China Phase 2.
Kty had many opportunities to live in Game 1, had he just used Valla's Vault cooldown more defensively. Because Kty only used this ability to harass opponents with his Q build, he never had his escape available when the inevitable dive came crashing at his door. When you consider the other team was running Anub'arak, Illidan, and Greymane, it should have been a no-brainer to save his vault and avoid a good portion of his opponents' dive pressure. At the 13-minute mark, Kty made another blunder by pushing in with his Strafe in the frontline position. Because of this, the enemy Anub'arak easily stunned Kty, negating the entire heroic and a good portion of CE's teamfight damage. At the 19-minute mark Kty died yet again due to a positional error. Had he moved towards his allies instead of away from them he would have most likely survived Beyond The Games' engage.
Bad positional awareness

Kty didn't have a great game despite his teams round robin victory at the HGC Phase 2.
Kty was actually the weakest performer on CE in the Game 1 Sky Temple match. Nearly always out of position on the hero Reghar, it became very apparent that he has very little experience playing the orc shaman. Due to Kty getting picked off repeatedly in the early stages of the game, CE was constantly behind. Taking a fighting talent 15 to 16, CE pulled off a miraculous victory due to Kty's Bloodlust. This fight completely changed the momentum and CE was able to take the game. While Kty showed he was capable of pressing R to win a teamfight, he also did have an excellent cleanse at the 16-minute mark saving Brightwing from a Dehaka Drag. While this match wasn't his best, it did show that Kty is on this team for a reason.
